Yes. PetVault is free to download and includes all the core tools for organizing your pets' records and reminders. An optional upgrade, PetVault Pro, unlocks power features like automatic document scanning, encrypted backups, and app lock.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. You open the app and start adding your pets — nothing to create, nothing to remember.
Where is my pet's data stored?
On your device, and only your device. PetVault is offline-first with no cloud and no servers holding your information. Your pet's records never leave your phone unless you choose to export a backup.
Does PetVault work offline?
Yes. Everything works with no signal — ideal for the vet's waiting room, a boarding kennel, or travelling abroad. Your records are always available.
Can I back up my data or move to a new phone?
Yes. You can export an encrypted, password-protected backup file, store it wherever you like, and restore it on any device. You stay in control of where your data goes.
Is my data ever uploaded or sold?
