Privacy Policy

1. Our approach

PetVault is a private, offline-first pet care organizer published by GALAXYWAY AI LTD ("we", "us", "our"). It is designed so that the information you add about your pets stays on your device and under your control. We built PetVault so that you do not have to trust us with your data — because, by design, we never receive it.

This Privacy Policy applies to the PetVault mobile app and this website (https://petvault.galaxyway.ai). By using PetVault you agree to this policy.

2. No account, and what we don't collect

PetVault has no sign-up and no login. We do not create an account for you, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other identifier to use the app. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your pets' names, photos, medical records, or documents
• Your identity, contacts, or location
• Behavioural analytics or advertising identifiers from the app

Because there is no account and no server holding your content, there is no personal profile of you or your pets for us — or anyone else — to access, sell, or lose.

3. Information stored on your device

Everything you enter into PetVault — pet profiles, vaccines, medications, vet visits, weight, grooming, documents, insurance and travel records, reminders, emergency information and any photos or files you attach — is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This information is not transmitted to us and is not visible to us. If you delete the app or reset its data, that information is removed from your device.

4. Device permissions

PetVault may ask for the following permissions. Each is used only on your device to provide a feature, and you can manage them in your device settings:

• Camera — to photograph documents and pet images you choose to add.
• Photos / Files — to import images and documents you select.
• Face ID / Touch ID / device passcode — if you enable App Lock, to unlock the app and protect private documents. Biometric data is handled by your operating system and never leaves your device or reaches us.
• Notifications — to deliver the reminders you set. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; we do not send push notifications from a server and do not collect a push token.

5. Document scanning

PetVault's document scanning uses your device's built-in text recognition (Apple Vision on iOS and Google ML Kit on Android) to read a title and expiry date from a document and pre-fill a form for you. This processing happens entirely on your device. The image and the recognized text are not uploaded to us or to any third party.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

PetVault is free to use. If you choose to purchase an optional upgrade (PetVault Pro), the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is managed through our payments provider, RevenueCat, Inc. To make this work, limited purchase information — such as your platform purchase receipt and an anonymous, app-generated identifier — is processed by these providers. This lets the app confirm your entitlement and restore purchases. We do not receive your name, email, or payment card details; those are handled by the app store under its own privacy policy. 7. Backups

PetVault lets you export a backup of your data as a file. You choose where that file goes — for example, your device's Files app, a personal cloud drive, or a message to yourself. When you set a password, the backup is encrypted on your device before it is written, and only someone with the password can restore it. We never receive your backup file and cannot recover a lost backup password.

8. This website

This website is a static marketing site hosted on Cloudflare. It does not require an account, does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and does not sell any information. Our hosting provider may process standard, aggregated server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) for security and reliability, as described in Cloudflare's privacy documentation. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to serve the font files.

9. Children's privacy

PetVault is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information or require an account, we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through the website, please contact us and we will address it.

10. Data security

Keeping your data on your device removes the largest source of risk — a central database of user records. On-device data is protected by your device's own security (passcode, biometrics and platform encryption), and PetVault adds an optional App Lock and encrypted backups. You are responsible for securing your device and for keeping any backup password safe.

11. Your rights and control

You are always in control of your data. You can edit or delete any record at any time inside the app, reset all local data from the app's settings, or remove everything by uninstalling PetVault. Because we do not hold your personal data on our servers, there is no account for us to access, export, or erase on your behalf. Where you have rights under laws such as the UK GDPR, you may contact us with any question about this policy.

12. International users

GALAXYWAY AI LTD is registered in England & Wales. This website is served through a global content-delivery network. As your pet data stays on your device, using PetVault does not involve an international transfer of that data by us.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be reflected in an app update where relevant.
