1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PetVault mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by GALAXYWAY AI LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What PetVault is

PetVault is a personal organizer that helps you keep your pets' records, documents, reminders and emergency information on your own device. It is a tool for organization and record-keeping. It is not a veterinary service, a medical device, or a provider of professional advice.

3. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or reverse-engineer it except to the extent that applicable law permits.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you rely on it.
• Because your data is stored on your device, you are responsible for securing your device and for keeping your own backups. We cannot recover data or backup passwords for you.
• You agree to use the Service lawfully and only for pets and records you are entitled to manage.

5. Subscriptions and payments

PetVault is free to download and use. We may offer an optional paid upgrade ("PetVault Pro") that unlocks additional features. Any purchase is made through, and billed by, the Apple App Store or Google Play under that store's terms, and managed through our payments provider, RevenueCat. Where a subscription auto-renews, it renews until cancelled; you can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by the relevant app store in accordance with its policies and your statutory rights.

6. Your content and data

You own the information and files you add to PetVault. Because that content is stored locally on your device and not on our servers, we do not access, use, or claim any rights over it. You are free to export it or delete it at any time.

7. Not veterinary or professional advice

PetVault does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as such. Reminders, summaries and any calculated values are conveniences only. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for decisions about your pet's health, medications, and care. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency service directly.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, circumvent its security or licensing, use it to store unlawful content, or infringe anyone's rights. We may limit or end access that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding the data you create), is owned by GALAXYWAY AI LTD and is protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for distribution and payments — including the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat — and this website is hosted on Cloudflare. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements, and we are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, deletion, or failure to keep a backup. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GALAXYWAY AI LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or £50.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end the Service, or these Terms, if you materially breach them or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
